Ne'x'wind was born from a simple, unmet truth: everyday outdoor cooling and home tools were overcomplicated, poorly designed, and made for the wrong people.
Founder Ethan Miles, a Canadian industrial designer specializing in portable lifestyle gear, has spent 10 years refining wearable cooling devices and ergonomic hand tools. Awarded the 2022 North American Lifestyle Design Excellence Award and 2023 Consumer Tool Ergonomics Honor, he built his design philosophy around functional minimalism — remove redundant features, prioritize comfort, and build for real daily use.
As an everyday camper and homeowner, Ethan experienced the same frustrations most of us face. Traditional handheld fans trap your hands while working outdoors or camping; bulky floor fans cannot follow your movement. At home, bloated, messy tool kits make small DIY repairs slow and tiring.
